  BURN IN YOUR

  STOVE

Have everything nearby before lighting. A

couple of handfuls of kindling will suffice.

 Use 2-3 firelighters cubes.

Open both primary and secondary air

 inlets.

Arrange several layers of kindling to

create a lattice with plenty of air gaps.

Light the firelighters and close the stove

 door.

If the kindling does not take open the door

to the ashpan to create a better draft.

After 5-10 minutes there should be a

decent bed of embers. Use a poker to

spread them out evenly. Close the ashpan

 door.

Place various sized logs over the embers

to create a lattice again with plenty of air

gaps between. Use several logs rather

than one large log for best results. On top

of the logs place briquettes of anthracite

or other smokeless fuel to sustain the fire.

Keep feeding the fire with more logs

every 30-40 minutes mixed with pieces

of smokeless fuel to prevent the fire

from going out if you forget to add more

logs. Regulary check the ashpan and

don't let it over-fill blocking the air vent.
